Company PROFARMA-PRODUKT, s.r.o. , sited in Jablonec nad Nisou, was established on June 5th, 1995. It began as a pharmaceutical production company. Its main aim was a production of basic pharmaceutical raw materials so called galenics. The milestone of company´s development was a national registration of its own pharmaceutical disinfection preparation AJATIN ® Profarma tinktura.
The company has begun to diversify according to requirments and needs of its customers. The pharmaceutical production has been accompanied with production of biocidal products (AJATIN PLUS, AJATIN AKUT, etc). Those products poses wide range of microbicidal activity.
The next step in company´s development has been a co-operation with well known companies such as (Barny´s, Apotex, Obra, Uncaria, PharmaAgency, Celius etc.).
Company has begun to produce food supplements for them. The food supplements are mainly natural based where the main ingredients are herbal extracts. The majority of food supplements are liquids. Additional production refers to solid forms such as capsules, powders. Company Profarma offers a full service from development to finished product and its distribution. The company is equiped with machinery and equipment that is suitable to manage the complete production of semi solid products such as gels, creams, ointments and other products.
In the present time the company has a portfolio of more than 100 products that are or were introduced to the market or where it has participated on their development or manufacture.
Recently the company has been working on reserch and development of new generation disinfections that are highly effective against a wide range of microorganisms but are also safe and non-toxic in their use. In 2012 the company established the quality system ISO 13485 for a production of non-sterile liquid medical devices.
PROFARMA-PRODUKT, s.r.o., has been co-operating with american company Tender Corporation, USA. It is the exclusive distributor of their products in the Czech and Slovak Republic.
The company has its own certified analytical and microbiological laboratory. The company PROFARMA-PRODUKT s.r.o. is a holder of GMP certificate for quality control.
